Description
I don’t normally do the ‘dark and ‘macabre’ thing, the way soooooooo many others do here on Deviant art, and I am not normally given to bouts of melancholy but in this production I felt a little doom and gloom was needed to compliment the posture of the idiot in the chair.
It was interesting to create this one for another reason because it involved dropping a 2D Photoshop file into the 3D world of Bryce. The main problem with this approach is the 2 dimensionality which requires quite a bit of fixing afterwards to make the image look as though it belongs in the scene.
The idiot in the chair is yours truly and I have posted a somewhat unedited version in my scraps [link]

Great manip! I know you said that the program did some of the work, but I believe the the aritist is always the star. The program can only do what you allow it to do, and, even through my naivity, I see a great piece of art. Well done, well done indeed. I love the sense of endlessness that I feel from this piece. The sky and water going on beyond view, really gives it a depth of meaning that I appreciate.
